SMT. VANITHA MANDAYAM DODDAMANE

With over 30 years of dedication to Bharatanatyam, Vanitha is a distinguised performer and teacher trained in the Vazhuvoor style, one of the oldest and most graceful traditions of this classical art form.Under the guidance of her esteemed Guru, she has mastered the nuances of this style, known of its fluid movements, intricate abhinaya (expressions), and rich choreography

Her journey of learning extends beyond traditional training, as she has deepened her knowledge through the riogorous practice of Karanas with her Guru, exploring the dynamic movements detailed in the Nata Shastra. With a passion for preserving and evolving the art, she continues to inspire students, sharing both the technical precision and spiritual depth of Bharatanatyam.

Trained under Karnataka Kalashree Guru Revathi Narasimhan under Vazhuvoor style, one of the oldest forms, has expanded her learning on Karanas with Guru Nirupama Rajendra and detailed Natyashastra with Guru Vithya Arasu.

She has been a distinguished judge for numerous prestigious competitions and examinations.

• Republic day Parade 2023- Represented Tamil Nadu in the Tableau, performed in the presence of Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, President Smt Draupadi Murmu, and other dignitaries.

• International Productions :

• Prabavati - A production by Raadha Kapla Productions led by Guru Rukmini Vijayakumar, a fundraising by Aim for Seva toured across the USA & Dubai.

• Ponggu Tamil - A production by Anusham Dance Company led by Shri Narendra Kumar L which toured Singapore, Malaysia and Mauritius.
